Search For And Install A WordPress Plugin

by mitz on March 9, 2010

The great thing about using WordPress to build your website is that it has a plugin for almost everything you can imagine. I have a bad attitude about websites now…It is almost a lazy attitude. I no longer worry about designing or tweaking my website as I know I can easily find the best WordPress theme and a thousand handy WordPress plugins to enhance my website.

You can get Search Engine Optimization Plugins, traffic getting plugins, ones that make auto links, make auto posts, make different sections on your website, and more.. Installing a WordPress plugin is so easy a two year old could do it.

How to install a WordPress plugin?

1.  In the WordPress Dashboard menu, press on plugins.
2.  Then press on add new.

3. Type the plugin name you want to search for..In this case below I have typed Socialize.

4.  Now press search.

5.  A list will apear. Press on the install link under the plugin you choose.

6.  You will be asked to activate the plugin.

The next thing you need to do is configure the plugins settings. Some plugin settings are under the settings menu, however some are in the tools menu. Others are in the main menu, usually at the bottom. The only way to find the actual plugin settings is to open your eyes and look!

I will probably follow the step by step guide that you have stated here on your blog for me to be able to come up with a very helpful and useful plugin. I really like the way you state this information because it really is easy to understand and follow as well.

Great post. I have learned quite a lot from this. Comment luv plugin is a very good plugin for both the blog owner and the com mentor. This is because it enables the two of you to share links which will definitely lead to better rankings.

Maybe you are not signed in as an admin? Did you set this website up yourself?
