Not all web hosting providers that offer cPanel purchase the third party software known as Fantastico. If your web hosting provider has upgraded to cPanel 11 then you can do this without Fantastico.

Hi there
The best thing to do is contact hostgator through support and ask them to remove the files for you…. They will do it… Then you can go to fantastico and start again…

I just google hostgator support and then click on the live chat section.

Hi There,

I was following your advice and started the process for a wordpress website. I however did not use fantastico to download wordpress. And am Lost. Now there is no wordpress admin panel in the cpanel on hostgator. Suggestion?? I tried to install w/fantastico and it says delete all files. Not sure how to. Can you help??
