It sounds like a daunting task, however it is very simple. To install WordPress using fantasico in cpanel hosting is by far the easiest way to get the job done. I wish I could have found a video tutorial like this when I was struggling to work it out some years ago.
If your website hosting comes with a cpanel that includes fantastico then you are laughing. You can have a website installed within minutes. Hosting such as hostgator and Just host can help you out with this.
